adequate stay with issues
noisy machines rude staff
the room i had faced an interior courtyard, and there were machines there. these machines made quite a lot of noise, it hindered sleep. also, i found the staff in the cafeteria rather unpleasant and rude! the experience wasn't ideal.

locked windows breakfast reservation
I am frustrated. the room felt stuffy, i didn't find any ventilation beyond the ac. the windows had locks. i was told it was for safety, but the locks could have allowed a few inches of opening. This could have prevented me from needing to constantly run the ac. breakfast required a reservation, it was odd being told to reserve a table.

blackout blinds delicious food
the beautiful king room was comfortable. it had automatic blackout blinds, nice. the food at the restaurant was delicious. concierge helped book a massage for my friend and me. that was a delight. we loved that
elevators were a bit small. we had to wait sometimes.

design flaw slow service
I did encounter a couple of issues. the frosted glass door to the ensuite bathroom let in a lot of light once dawn broke (the room became quite bright even with the blackout blinds). this was especially annoying when needing the bathroom during the night, as it lit up the entire bedroom. also, breakfast service one morning was slow. I felt this could have been handled better.

good job hotel layout great mixologist
Cortez did a very good job checking me in. He explained the layout of the hotel and amenities well. Nicolas was funny at the bar. He was a great mixologist also.

clean room excellent location friendly staff
the staff were friendly at the door. the room was clean. the location is excellent with proximity to the metro. the gym equipment seems good.
it reminded me of my room lacked of proper ventilation.

i found a good breakfast at the pembroke. there are also many good restaurants in the nearby area. i think anyone would find various options for different tastes.

the door staff and reception were friendly and helpful. they were quick to assist with any questions i had. everyone made sure all needs were met.

the gym had good equipment. the rooms were clean. i also used the nespresso coffee machine. it allowed me to start my day right.
